Director's Profile

Prof.(Dr.) Aparna N Mahajan is currently Director [MAIT], Dean Academics and President IIC [MAU Baddi]. Dr. Aparna N Mahajan has done her graduation in Electronics & Power Engineering from Government College of Engineering Nagpur University in 1981 and then her post graduation leading to M E in Power System from Govt College of Engineering, Aurangabad. She did her PhD from Banasthali Vidyapith, Banasthali in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering in the broad area of Vehicular Adhoc Networking. Dr. Mahajan has over 35 years of teaching and administrative experience and has guided a number of undergraduate and postgraduate projects, with a number of publications in National and International journals and conferences to her credit.
She has organized a number of workshops and seminars in these areas as well on Personality development & communication skills in reputed Engineering Institutes in NCR. Dr. Mahajan was past Chairperson of Women in Engineering, IEEE Delhi Section. She was conferred three Outstanding Branch Counselor Award from IEEE Head Quarter NewYork and IEEE Delhi Section in 2015.
She was also conferred Best Teacher Award (ECE) in 2006 by Rao Virender Singh former Finance Minister Govt of Haryana. She was also conferre “Outstanding Achievement Award in Maharaja Agrasen University in 2025. .She is also selected by as an Evaluator for Cyber Security Hackathon Smart India Hackathon 2023 & NEAT 3.0 and 4.0 by Ministry of Education
