Maharaja Agrasen University Fee Refund Policy

  • In accordance with the provisions of Sec.31(3) of Maharaja Agrasen University (Establishment & Regulation) Act., 2012 “Seats for admission in University, for the students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes. And other backword classes and handicapped students, shall be reserved as per the Policy of Central/State Govt.
  • As provided in Sec. 31 (4) of the said ACT, “At least 25% seats for admission to each course shall be reserved for students who are bonafide Residents of Himachal Pradesh.
  • In case of withdrawal of admission before commencement of the academic session the university will refund the entire amount in accordance with norms of UGC/AICTE/Govt. of Himachal Pradesh.
  • The University follows the fee refund policy as per UGC guidelines vide letter No. D.O. No.F.2-7/2022(CPP-II) (C-114546). However, in case, the student has paid the Hostel Room Rent, Mess Charges and Laundry Charges, pro-rata monthly deduction will be refunded.
  • A semester shall be deemed to be five months’ duration for the purpose of computing the pro-rata monthly charges.
